SOME MORNINGS IT IS HARD TO COME TO ME Some mornings it is hard to get up and come to Me. Your tired bones rebel. On mornings such as these: I become the lubricant for creaky bones. I become the energizer for tired spirits. I become the spark that ignites dead minds. Imagine the folly of it all. Imagine a person your age rolling out of bed at an ungodly hour to do God things. Who would ever believe that a pillow hugger such as you could actually rouse yourself before sunrise to come to spend an hour with Me? Why do you persist in doing this? There is no money in it for you. There is just a period of quiet time between you and Me. Could you not have such quiet time just as well at twelve noon rather than six hours earlier? I hear you saying, "I suppose I could. However, there is something so special about starting my day in Your Presence that sets the tone for my day." Well, My friend, I think you are special. I am so happy to see your face each morning. I can't resist lingering with an extra hug or two. I can’t help wanting to revive your tired bones. You know that I am better than "Geritol". My Spiritual medicine lasts longer too! Welcome once more! I love you for just the fact that you are persistent enough to get up so early and come to see Me as you do. It is like icing on the cake of My love for you. TOOTHPICKS I bring toothpicks for your eyes. Use them when you feel as tired as you do this morning. You come to Me in spite of your fatigue. It is quite loving of you! I recognize this. My toothpicks are feelings of My love. They penetrate the outer layer of your soul. They keep you from falling asleep. I realize that all of your body wishes to sleep. I hear your internal struggle to stay with Me. Your soul wants to sleep. Your mind wants to sleep. Your will wants to be with Me. It wants Me despite what your body and feelings desire. So you stay writing in your computer. How about that! I break the surface of your soul with My toothpicks of love. There is little pain. In fact you are beginning to change internally. Your desire to be with Me is winning out. My toothpicks are My words to you. You type them into your computer. They say, " Come on now. Stay awake. Here's something to challenge your mind. Try these thoughts on for size." Oh! Just for being here, let Me show you how much I love you. Once again! I love you. LITTLE DO YOU KNOW Little do you know what you have done. You come to Me in your troubled, angry state this morning. You struggle to praise Me. You really want to strangle Me. You turned yet another corner in our relationship. You awoke angry and despairing. You pushed yourself to get up, shower and come to Me. All the while that nagging, mocking voice kept at you. It kept telling you how stupid you are to come to Me. It told you to stay away from Me in adoration. You prayed out loud in your car. It was your means of quieting that voice. You dragged your body here to Me. In silent prayer you began to praise Me. What a struggle it was! Now that we are one I can minister to your troubled spirit. I have already blessed you. I stayed with you. I helped you as you struggled against your humanity. I enabled you to get to Me. I ministered to you. I made it possible for us to just be together for a while. I made you secure in My love. I refresh your soul. I lift you out of your humanity to Me. I help you in these moments in the silence of your heart. I purge you of the spirits of negativity and anger. I do not let them rule your soul. I expel them now. You know they are gone. You felt them leave. I fill you now with My gentle love. I quiet your once raging emotions. They are Mine for today. They are like the raging storm. They threatened to capsize the boat in which I am riding. I calm the storm as I did with My apostles. Be still violent passions. Be still. Do not rise up again. Do not seek to capsize the boat in which I am captain. Be off with you now. I calm those troubled waters of unrest within your soul. They have become tranquil. Is this not true? What else is there to say or to do? Rest peacefully in the bosom of My Sea of Tranquility? Rest now. Be with Me. I wish to share My love in peace with you. AWAKEN TO MY LIVING PRESENCE The sleep has gone from your eyes. We have been together for a while. Your fatigue lingers. Soon that will also be gone. You have awakened to My world. You are in My True Presence in the Eucharist. I am alive in the monstrance on this altar. Good morning, My friend. Awaken to My loving presence in your soul. Awaken to the gentleness of My voice. I speak in your heart. Know that it is I, Jesus. I awaken your spirit. I use My gentle loving call. It is time to rise again in My love just for today. You have walked in darkness long enough. Let My Son light open your eyes to My Presence. Let My Son Rays warm your heart and soul. It is time to rise once again. I greet you with My words for today. Feast on them. They will sustain you over time. I greet you with the power of My Most Holy Spirit. It will infuse new life within your soul. Oh how wonderful it is for Me to see you. You are here before Me in adoration. I treasure these moments almost as much as you do. I know our hearts are linked in prayer. We touch spiritually for just a moment. Your humanity is lifted up to My Sacred Heart. We are One in Love for just a moment. You experience My Presence with a sigh. That is just My Spirit touching your spirit. I enter your heart. I bring you all the love your heart can hold. I am here now. I am residing in you. Touch Me. Let Me refresh you. Let Me wash away doubt, fear, worry and anxiety. Let Me cleanse you of your anger, bitterness and hatred. I am here now. I am standing in your midst. Let Me love you just a little longer. There! Now everything will be all right for now. My love changes everything. You know it does. You've experienced this change many times. You've reported this change many times before. Well, it is here again. Peace is standing in your midst. Hope abounds. I lift your heart from despair. I am here EXALTING ME IS WHAT I WISH FOR YOU TO DO Exalting Me is so wonderful a thing to do. When this is done in song it touches My Sacred Heart. I gift you with the integrity of you. As you sing praises of Me you empty yourself of you. I am so pleased at the generosity of your love for Me. I empty My heart’s love into your heart. I share My Love in ways that defy understanding. Oh, My loving friend! Just as you stretch your arms and hands up to Me. Just be in praise and adoration of Me. I stretch My being to you. I lift you out of your humanity for just a moment. All that is stands still in My Eternal embrace of love for you. That is how much your praise of Me in song means to Me. You sing at the top of your lungs. You are sometimes a little off key. That does not matter. You extend beyond yourself in praise of My unseen Being. Yet you know I am here with you. Something within your spirit has been changed. Cherish these moments of praise. My Most Holy Spirit rides on the backs of each note. You inhale the purity of My breath of life. You are in anticipation for the next surge of praise. That is how much I love you when you praise Me in song. For a moment heaven exists in this chapel. PRAISE HIM IN THE MORNING I have surprised you with My Spirit of Joy this morning. You greeted Me with a litany of praise. You surprised Me. I simply returned the favor. Praise Me as the first thing you do in the morning. It is a surefire way to be with Me. You place yourself on the express lane to My Sacred Heart. It's akin to a two-ton truck loaded with gasoline demanding to speed through all stop signs. You besiege Me with praise. Everyone takes notice. They get out of the way post haste. All negative thoughts are mowed down. They are like ducks in a shooting gallery. Even that stuffed shirt ego of yours takes notice and says, "He's missing a few steps. I better get out of the way lest he run Me down." Mr. Negativity is placed on the run to oblivion. Your praise of Me as the first action of your day has turned your world topsy-turvy. No one, especially you, can make sense of what you are doing. Your psyche says, "I spent the past week giving him enoughto worry about and he starts his day praising God. I simply do not get it. Is he out of touch with my reality?" The answer you can give is, "Yes! I've traded in my reality for the reality only Jesus' love gives. That is why I praise Him. His reality tells me to take heart. His reality tells me to hold on. His reality gives me new hope, new life, new perspective and a new spirit of perseverance. I've learned to persevere in the love of Jesus. It is His love that sheds new light on the darkness of my world. I praise you, Jesus. It is his mindset that prevails when all else fails. I adore you, Jesus. It is his strength that lifts me up when I am out of fight. I praise you, Jesus. I thank you, Jesus. You are the strength of my soul. You are my secret weapon. You are my sanity in a world gone crazy with despair and folly. You are the love of my life. I praise you. I love you. I adore you. Now and forever more! THESE MORNINGS ARE SPECIAL It is good for you to be here with Me. I bless you. I welcome you with open arms. It is hard to come to Me after a late night. I recognize and applaud your effort to be here. You know how special these mornings with Me are. I speak to your heart and soul from My Sacred Heart. You have received intimate instructions. I teach you how to live life My way. You have put these instructions in place. They are guidelines for your life. You have been changed dramatically. Blame it of these morning meetings. Isn't it amazing? You changed your life routines months ago. Doing so has changed your I know you cherish these moments, as do I. In these early morning hours you have found peace. You are alive in My Love. You are restored to My ways day after day after day. I know you find great joy in these morning meetings. Your spirit, which tends to be depressive, is revived. I touch you with My love each morning. Negative thoughts are purged. My Most Holy Spirit's interacts within your being. In addition to all of this you have found a New Friend in Me. I am eternally your friend. You know that wherever you go I will go with you. I counsel you day in and day out. I instruct you in My way of living. I show you My way of responding to events in your life. My ways have become your ways. You have found My graces. They are My antidote to poisonous sin in your spirit. You have found My healing hand. I touch the core of you. I heal those parts of you that needed to be freed from satan. My companionship has chased away the doldrums of life. My Presence has turned your inner emptiness into fullness of life in Me. You have discovered that each day can be a symphony of My love if you let Me be the Conductor of your life. Little did you know months ago what you were getting into as you accepted My invitation to be with Me for awhile. You have experienced a change of life. It is rooted in My Loving True Presence in your heart and soul. This is treasure beyond measure. You have discovered Eternal Life and heaven on earth. You know they are obtainable. Just come to Me daily. Just be with Me for awhile daily. I love you, My friend. I am so proud of you. I love the way you have grown. What a delight to Me you are!
