Singing in the Spirit means letting the lilting love song of My Dove of Peace touch your heart and soul in such a manner as to bring joy to your entire being. I go through a great deal of trouble inspiring people, not necessarily musicians, with My Music. They hear My Melodies of love. They hear My Words spoken to them in their journey through life with Me. They sing them to themselves. Then, they sing them for others. Soon, these songs catch on like wildfire and spread everywhere. They fan the flame of My Spirit in others. I wonder why these songs are so special? Perhaps this is so because they come from Me. Don’t they touch your heart? Don’t you hear them upon awakening? Don’t they well up within you in moments of turmoil? Sometimes, don’t they filter into your being, reminding you of Me and, in turn, changing your mood? Be open to My Love Songs. I wrote them through the receptivity of others to My Presence. This is much as in the same way as these letters are written. These are all My Gifts to you to lull you into My World when this world of man becomes too much to handle. Enjoy the love they bring to your soul, if only for a few moments. In those moments, Heaven comes to you on Earth. This is a brief preview of Eternal Life. DANCING IN THE SPIRIT Dancing in the Spirit happens when you are just so filled with Me, you can’t stand still. You sway to My Music. Your feet have trouble being planted on the ground. You feel so alive that every part of your body rejoices at My Presence within your soul. You feel not unlike Elizabeth when she felt the presence of Jesus in Mary’s womb. The child in her womb leapt for joy. That’s what dancing in the Spirit is. It is devotion in motion. There is no way to contain the jubilation. You have no choice but to give in, rejoice, and dance. There are no prescribed steps. Most people just clap their hands and kind of skip around. It looks silly, but it feels great because My Most Holy Spirit is moving into every pore of your being. Don’t hold back. Let the love and the life of My Most Holy Spirit take over. I hate to say this to all you sad sacks weighed down by life. IT’S FUN! Honestly, it is fun. You can’t help but feel better afterwards. It’s better than a drink. For some, it is better than sex. (I’ll have to speak to them about that at another time.) Do you get My Drift now? Let loose when My Spirit moves you! It is one of the most healing things you can do. May I have the next dance with you? BEING HAPPY IN THE SPIRIT Being happy in the Spirit is so difficult for so many of My Friends. To them, I say loud and clear: Happy is not a curse word. It has five letters, not four. For just a while, walk away from your sorrows and troubles. Park them outside the door. Give them to Me just for a while. I want you to be happy. Wait a minute. You did not give me ALL of your troubling thoughts. I won’t proceed until you do. That’s better. Now, where was I? For those who don’t know happy, you’ll feel a bit strange. It starts in your soul as My Gift. It moves quickly to a smile. That’s when you feel the muscles of your mouth move its shape into an upward position. Like so! Got it? Good! Then, it moves to your belly and makes the muscles contract, and you emit a rather strange guttural sound. That’s called laughter. If this rather raucous outburst continues for an extended period of time, tiny droplets of moisture descend down your cheeks. They are tears. I know you are used to tears, but these are quite different. They are tears of joy. They warm your heart. They open you more fully to My Presence. Are you ready now? All together, “Ha!” Now put several of them together in a string. “Ha, ha, ha, ha!” You can make the string as long as you want. That’s called laughter. Sometimes, it becomes uncontrollable. That’s called fun. Fun is also not a four-letter word. Practice getting happy, smiling, laughing, and laughing uncontrollably until we meet again. Bet you can do it. Just learn to be happy in My Spirit. It’s fun, fun, and fun.
