YOU DID NOT CHOOSE ME




	I have called you by name and you are Mine. You did not choose Me. I chose you. Before you were formed in your mother’s womb, I knew you. My seed of eternal life was placed deep within your soul. The choices of your free will over your lifetime brought this flower, your soul, to full growth in My garden of roses. It is not that you were predestined to be fully Mine. There were many times when you could and did choose to go elsewhere. However, deep within your true self, you ultimately chose My way of living. You are not unlike the untold millions of souls who flourish due to My Sanctifying Grace. I pour it freely on them as they freely choose to come to Me. My love nourishes their memories of who I am. My Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding cultivate their intellect and instill in their minds an indelible image of who I am. My Courage, Perseverance, and Fortitude strengthen their will as they choose Me and My way of life over and over again. Their renewed memory, refreshed intellect and empowered will have enabled their souls, like yours, to become one with My Most Holy Spirit. My prayer to the Father is that through Our Loving Holy Spirit, all souls will be brought to Him. Through His Holy Spirit, He will renew the face of the earth. ACKNOWLEDGE ME AS THE AUTHOR OF THESE LETTERS The power of My life within you is just beginning to fully take hold as you begin to acknowledge the true author of these letters. It is I, Jesus, who writes to you through you on a daily basis. I know how strange and bizarre it is to write such statements, but My friend, it is quite true. You know that there is no way you could frame letters such as these on such a variety of topics, with such clarity in such a short space of time. The words just flow – non-stop. In fact, at times, it is difficult for you to keep up with the pacing of My words to you. You know this is not of your doing. With that in mind, as you look back over all of these letters, look at the growth you have experienced. Note the times predictions are made of things to happen and then see how and if they take place. You will see how active I have been in totally restructuring you and your ongoing response to life events. If anyone looked at you before and after, you would look the same physically. But anyone who truly knows you will see the difference. You have a certain tranquility that defies explanation. It is My peace, My friend, which reigns in your heart. This peace has been hard won for you had to go through hell to achieve it. Isn’t it amazing to see your transition? It’s like a covering was pulled back a little at a time and new skin emerged beneath. It is not unlike when a sunburn peels. The dead skin rolls away and the new, tender skin appears. Spiritually that is what has happened to you. That is the way My changes occur, that is, from the inside out. First the spiritual changes occur. This in turn impacts on the psychological and physical changes within. Thought patterns change. Response patterns change. There is a slowing within which places a delay on response sequences and time responses. You have been experiencing this for the past five months. Hang in there, buddy, there is just a little more work to do. You have done beautifully. You have been so open to My grace and Me. I think a secret part of you has been waiting for years for this metamorphosis to occur. Look at you. You are beaming from the inside out. Doesn’t it feel great? Now you know what this was all about. In My time I made you new from the inside out. You know what? It shows. I am shining through your eyes. Your heart is actually glowing. Your soul is shining so brightly it is hard to stare at. You have My total blessing, My friend. I love you from head to toe – inside out and upside down. You are beautiful to behold. (Hard to write this?) It does not matter. My truth will shine forth through you for all to see. My love is just overflowing in your heart. THESE LETTERS ARE FOR THOSE IN PAIN As you can see these letters help others in pain. Through you, My words are touching those in your practice. You can see how they relate to the problems of others. You can see how one letter may directly relate to the concerns of two or more people. So much so that they feel the letter was written to them.That is the way I intended these letters to be used. They have been written in such a way that they make others feel they were written to them. Each person will draw something special for himself or herself from each letter. (My friend, it is almost as if I planned it that way.) You know in your heart that each of these letters meant something to you at the time they were written, because of some event you were experiencing in your life. As time goes on you will see the general applicability of each letter. The reason for this is that the feelings of all people are essentially the same. The events of each person’s life are unique. Their response to these events and to My Presence in their lives is a bond all human beings have in common. Thus, these letters, written to you in your time of need, will have universal appeal. They cut across feelings and thoughts held by all people. You will find as you share more and more of these letters, there is a universal appeal. They were designed by Me in love to heal those in pain, to bolster those in doubt and to love those who feel unloved. I am the Lord, thy God. Thou shalt not have false gods before Me. That is the theme of most of these letters. They are a call to renounce the false gods in your life. This includes the false image you have of Me. Then you are to seek out My true self. I have promised, and promise once again, as you transition away from your false gods towards the real Me, that I will be with you constantly. There is nothing I would rather do than reward the honest efforts of My friends who are seeking Me with all their hearts, minds and souls. My love will surround them in all of their efforts to move towards Me. My grace will sustain them when they falter in faith because of their humanity. My power will surround them as they battle the forces of the nether world that seek their destruction. Only when you make honest effort to seek after My love will I be with you. The faint hearted will fall by the wayside until they realize I require a full commitment to Me to fully experience My Presence. My Spirit is at work constantly seeking to change your thought patterns by giving you My spiritual insights into My way of thinking. My Holy Spirit will empower your will to seek Me out more fully each day of your life if you truly open your entire being to Me. You will find I am a constant lover. I leave no stone unturned to show you how much I love you. I only desire that you are seek Me with your whole heart, your whole mind and your whole soul. Thus, I say to you, “DO NOT BE AFRAID” In coming to Me in humility and love, I will meet you where you are. I will gently, ever so gently, move you closer to Me. My Holy Spirit is a gentle, loving, patient instructor. He will guide you through the pain of your spiritual growth. There is pain because you are giving up your human ways and exchanging them for My spiritual ways. Change is always painful. I promise you, though, if you stay focused on Me, the pain involved in growth will be minimal. I will deflect it and you will find My love the best shield you can carry in life. Be patient with change, My friend. My Spirit will contain your impulsive tendency to want to give up and/or to rush ahead. All things happen in My time. You never know when I will heal aspects of your being. Healing occurs at just the right time for all. I am the Perfect Healer. Trust Me, My friend. I know what I am doing. RELUCTANCE ABOUT SHARING THESE LETTERS It is not unusual to feel reluctant about sharing your experiences with Me in letter writing with others. At best it makes you look a little strange to believers and completely nuts to nonbelievers. Yet, sharing My words in these letters is exactly what I am calling you to do. I know you will not fail Me. I will show you the way to publish these letters for they are meant for people of good will who seek to grow in My love. This daily sharing will help many that are struggling with difficulties in their lives. In a sense, as they read these letters, I become their CO-Therapist, as you are so prone to calling Me. This gift of love from Me through you is meant for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear. Know this, My friend. I do not speak idly when I tell you of the need for something as tangible as these letters for people to hold onto as they go through life. My letters will touch those in pain. My redeeming grace is embedded in the words on each page. In restoring My kingdom on earth, publications such as these, will support My friends in the times of turmoil which will shortly beset the world. Oh, My friend, you are so faithful to Me. You bring joy to My heart. These letters are an expression of My joy. In a joyful spirit I release My words to all who can see Me, the Invisible One, and to all who can hear and recognize My voice in their hearts. Know this. I am not unseen or mute. In fact, the very opposite is true. I speak to the hearts of My faithful ones. I give words of love, joy, peace and encouragement to them as they face each day’s struggles. They see Me quite clearly in the eyes of others that are living their lives My way. They bond immediately to those who love Me. They can sense My Presence in others for their spirit is so in tune with seeking after me in all things. Do not think these letters are just My way of filling your life and occupying your restless mind and spirit. As time unfolds, you will see My plan for these words, that I have given you. You have already shared some of these letters publicly. You see how reverently they are received. Others recognize My Presence in these words. They know you did not write them. They also recognize your openness to the Holy Spirit so that these words can flow through you. Be patient, My friend. Great things happen when you mix with Me. SHARE THESE LETTERS WITH OTHERS It is with the best intentions I share who I am with you. I realize how difficult it is for you to share My letters with others for you fear they will think you a little strange. Well, My friend, you are a little strange. How many people do you know who profess to be getting letters from Jesus while in Adoration before the Blessed Sacrament? I rest My case. You see if you walk as closely with Me as you are, what will seem perfectly natural and normal to you as an outgrowth of your spiritual life, will easily seem a little strange to others. At your age, what does it matter anyway? We will press on in our journey together. You would not be here writing if you did not wish to do so. I must say your willingness to share with others is quite admirable. Afterwards, when you feel self conscious and awkward about what they may think of you, just come to Me. We can share a laugh or two about this concern. My friend, we have only just begun our journey together. Wait until they come seeking your scalp! Oh well! You don’t have much hair anyway. What I am saying am is “So what if they think you are nuts? You’re the psychologist – not them!” REREAD THESE LETTERS AND FEEL THE POWER OF MY WORDS Isn’t it amazing to have re-read these letters and to feel the power of My words residing in each letter? I know that as you write them, since there is no fore thought on your part, that you do not grasp the power of My messages. You are too busy just writing them as I dictate to you. That will be the beauty of this collection of letters. Each time they are read, either individually or collectively, the reader will draw something different for him/herself. I know I repeat Myself by restating that never in a million years could you construct letters such as these. They are so diverse in the topics covered. Yet they are universal in their theme – “Come to Me, you who labor and are weary and I will give you rest!” I have placed the power of My Most Holy Spirit within each word. As a person reads a letter or more, My healing power through My Most Holy Spirit will be released more fully in the heart of the reader. Make no mistake. When someone reaches for this book, they are in pain and/or they are seeking to get to know Me better. My promise is that these letters will provide entrée to My Sacred Heart. Readers beware. My love is contagious. You might catch it from Me.
